I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but what is that 10 near the USB symbol?

The port supports a data rate of up to 10 Gbps (Gen 1×2 or 2×1).

It means it’s a USB3.2gen2x1 port.
A “10” and “USB” symbol means “10 Gigabits per second USB data”. What kind of machine is it? I might want one. Not every USB-C port has that capability. It could have 5 Gbps data rate, it could be charger only, it could be USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps, or the connector could be a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port with a different logo and some amount of USB data compatibility.
